The Summer of Staycations!

With most people choosing to stay in the UK this year, why not make the most of their Staycation!

Given the recent government advice about going on holiday this year, overseas travel may not be a sure thing this summer. Most people won’t be jetting around the world as they normally would.  The new quarantine laws and the unfamiliar way of travelling through airports and on planes suggest that the experience is going to be somewhat very different in the future.

Most people are now starting to look forward to life after lockdown and are planning staycations in good ol’ Blighty and why not?! Britain is blessed with beautiful coastlines, Stunning rural regions and epic cities and with this awesome weather where temperatures are exceeding 30 degrees, it feels as though we are abroad anyway!

With more and more people staying in the UK this year, this will hopefully inject a huge boost into the British economy and help us all get back on our feet.  It has been reported over the past fortnight that Air B&B’s, caravan sites, holiday homes and hotels have all experienced a huge surge in bookings from July onwards. So maybe this is the time to really ‘show your stuff’ and stand out as an outstanding establishment in the hope that people will return year after year. 

What can I do to boost my customer’s experience?

In life, it’s the little details that really make a difference to a customer’s experience and it is this that makes them return to a specific brand or company time and time again.  Everyone, no matter who they are, like to feel special and that they are getting value for money for their hard-earned cash. Leaving the right impression is paramount for future business.

One way that the hospitality industry can do this is to leave branded items for their customers whilst they stay at your property or establishment.  They can be taken home after the visit and unconsciously kept as a reminder or keepsake of their time away. Branded items are an effective visual reminder of your company after the event has passed.

The ‘write’ way to make a good impression!
