The Vow

When Paige (Rachel McAdams) wakes up from a coma after a terrible accident she has to try and piece together every trace of her pre accident life including who she is, why she stopped seeing her parents, the abandoned law degree everything was wiped from her memory including her marriage to Leo (Channing Tatum). Leo has to try and get her to remember him and the only way to do this is to get her to fall in love with him over again right from when they first met, no matter what it takes.

iPads seized in China copyright row
Many cities in China are seizing iPads from retailers in a dispute between Apple and a Chinese company over the ownership of the tablets name.
Authorities in the city of Weihai are investigating a complaint by Proview Technology that Apple has violated its rights to the iPad name.
Proview registered the iPad trademark in China in 2001 and Apple, manufacturer of the iPad and iPhone bought rights to the name from a Proview affiliate but the company says it still owns the name in China.
We can only wonder what Steve Jobs would have made of this?

Anfield cat up for adoption
The cat that became famous around the world for disrupting Liverpool’s match against Tottenham causing some noise has been put up for adoption. Liverpool FC’s feline pal turned out to be a stray living in a derelict house in Lothair Road just round the corner from the football stadium. He was rescued and taken in by Freshfield Shelter who are now looking for a new owner for the famous feline. Meeow!

Whitney Houston... we will always love you!
After very sad news over the weekend the world is in mourning as we say goodbye to one the world’s biggest stars. Whitney Houston aged 48 was found and pronounced dead on the evening of Saturday 18th February at the Beverley Hilton Hotel Los Angeles where she had been staying as a guest due to attend a pre-awards party in the Hotel organised by her long-time mentor and record industry executive Clive Davis on the Saturday evening, the night of the Grammy Awards.
The pre awards party went ahead with Davis holding a minute's silence and telling the audience he was personally devastated by the loss of someone who has meant so much to him for so many years.
Houston was one of the most celebrated female singers of all time with hits such as I Will Always Love You and Saving All My Love For You with a later career in film too overshadowed by substance abuse and her turbulent marriage to singer Bobby Brown.
Police inspected the scene before Ms Houston's body was moved from the hotel to the coroner's office for autopsy. While the cause of death is unclear Mr Rosen said there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent". The US celebrity website TMZ.com reported that Ms Houston had been partying heavily on both Thursday and Friday night. (BBC 2012)
An autopsy is likely to be held within the next two days. However, if drugs or alcohol are involved, it will take between six and eight weeks for toxicology tests to be completed.
