The row about MP’s and their expenses is becoming a red rag to a bull, where the British population are concerned . It was only yesterday that it was declared that Gordon Brown had to pay a staggering £12,415 due to his elaborate spending over the past couple of years on cleaning, gardening and such. Gordon Brown really needs to get into our good books and fast, as his reputation is rapidly decreasing by the second. I think a goodwill gesture needs to come from the government as an apology for all the flamboyant spending and lending that has been happening over the past year. Perhaps they could start with a small business gift to get the ball rolling as we, the public, are helping the country out of incredible deficit by paying ridiculous tax bills and continually sacrificing home ownership and loans.
Can I make a suggestion – now please don’t laugh, hear me out! We can’t ask for money as that would be a BIG no, no! So how about something small, and useful?
